About Will Wright — Founder of WillOnSafety Ltd

I didn't set out to build another tick‑box safety consultancy. After more than 20 years working across military, corporate and SME environments, I kept seeing the same pattern: businesses weren't struggling because they lacked paperwork — they were struggling because people weren't clear, aligned or confident in what safe actually meant day‑to‑day.

Instructions were misunderstood. Messages were inconsistent. Leaders assumed people knew what to do. And teams filled the gaps with guesswork.

That's why I created WillOnSafety Ltd — to give SMEs the practical, human‑centred support they actually need. My consultancy work focuses on clarity, communication and behaviour, helping businesses build safety systems that people understand, trust and follow. No jargon. No corporate fluff. Just clear guidance that works in the real world.

Over the years, I realised that many SMEs also needed simple, ready‑to‑deliver training that didn't require a full‑time safety department. That's why I developed my range of instant‑download training packs and The Language of Safety Leadership™ — tools designed to help supervisors and managers communicate safety in a way that actually changes behaviour.

Whether I'm supporting a business as their Competent Person, building their safety documentation, or delivering behavioural‑based leadership training, my goal is always the same:

To help organisations become Safe By Choice, Not By Chance.

Qualifications & Professional Background

I bring a strong technical foundation alongside real‑world experience:
• NEBOSH General Certificate
• NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Health & Safety Leadership Excellence
• NEBOSH Environmental Practical Application Certificate
• IOSH Managing Safely
• OSH Risk Assessor
• IOSH Accident Investigation & Reporting

Combined with two decades of hands‑on work across high‑risk, fast‑paced and people‑driven environments, these qualifications allow me to support SMEs with both compliance and culture — the two sides of safety most businesses struggle to balance.
